On the morning of April 28, 2025, a delegation led by Xue Hongwei, President of South China Agricultural University, visited and provided guidance to the School of Artificial Intelligence at Shenzhen University.

Professor Li Jianqiang, Executive Director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data System Computing Technology and a leader of the School of Artificial Intelligence, gave a detailed introduction to the laboratory's progress and achievements in big data, artificial intelligence, computing technology, and education. The school's research team demonstrated research achievements including digital humans, face synthesis, drones, and medical kits.

President Xue Hongwei affirmed the achievements of the School of Artificial Intelligence, believing that both universities, located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, could strengthen research cooperation in areas such as supercomputing, AI+agriculture, and bioinformatics, striving for even greater results and making a greater contribution to the development of the Greater Bay Area.
