On the morning of April 15, 2025, a delegation from the Science and Technology Development Research Institute of Shenzhen University, including Vice Dean Zhang Jiefeng, Vice Dean Wei Yang, and teachers Zhi Li, Lin Hai, and Mao Dan, visited the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data for a working exchange. The laboratory's research leaders, including Deputy Director Zhu Zexuan and Assistant Director Luo Chengwen, along with approximately 20 researchers and research secretaries, participated in the event.
The leaders and teachers from the Science and Technology Development Research Institute introduced the application guidelines for National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, Guangdong Province projects, Shenzhen Municipal projects, and university-level projects. They answered questions from the teachers regarding application details, research career planning, and research integrity. Finally, Vice Dean Zhang Jiefeng highlighted the application policies for the National Key Research and Development Program, reviewed the university and laboratory's application situation last year, and encouraged teachers to plan ahead and actively apply.
This exchange further clarified the focus of the National Engineering Laboratory's next stage of research work. Laboratory researchers gained a better understanding of the application policies and regulations for various research projects and developed clearer plans for their personal careers.
