Recently, Jiang Deping, Deputy Secretary-General of the Karamay Municipal Party Committee, and his delegation visited the National Engineering Laboratory. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on promoting regional development and scientific and technological cooperation.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretary-General introduced the basic situation of Karamay City and the development overview of its science and technology-related industries. As an important petrochemical base in China, Karamay possesses abundant oil resources and a complete industrial system. Karamay is committed to optimizing and upgrading its industrial structure, hoping to drive industrial development and achieve transformation and upgrading through technological innovation.
Li Jianqiang, Executive Director of the National Engineering Laboratory, warmly welcomed the delegation led by the Secretary-General of the Karamay Municipal Party Committee and provided a detailed introduction to the laboratory's latest achievements in big data processing, artificial intelligence, and other fields. He stated that the laboratory possesses advanced technology and rich R&D experience, and is willing to support the industrial development of Karamay City and jointly explore potential collaborations in areas such as digital technology and intelligent manufacturing.
During the exchange, both sides proposed a series of specific cooperation intentions, including jointly building R&D platforms, talent training programs, and technical exchange projects.
