The Joint Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence Financial Software Engineering held a signing ceremony.

On March 6, 2024, the signing ceremony for the Joint Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence Financial Software Engineering of Shenzhen University and Shenzhen Changliang Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Joint Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence Financial Software Engineering") was held in Conference Room 201, Huiyuan Building, Yuehai Campus, Shenzhen University. Mao Junfa, President of Shenzhen University, Wang Changchun, Chairman of Shenzhen Changliang Technology Co., Ltd., and relevant personnel from both parties attended the signing ceremony. The meeting was chaired by Cui Hongzhi, Dean of the Science and Technology Development Research Institute of Shenzhen University.

Mao Junfa warmly welcomed Wang Changchun and his delegation from Changliang Technology. He stated that Shenzhen University has developed rapidly and pragmatically over the past 40 years, collaborating with numerous enterprises to promote industrial application and transformation, achieving remarkable results. Gaining market recognition during the process of commercializing these achievements is a great honor. Changliang Technology is a leading enterprise in the financial software systems field, and he hoped that this collaboration would further leverage the potential of generative AI, large-scale models, and other artificial intelligence technologies in financial software engineering, fully releasing the value that AI brings to financial software engineering, and becoming a new model for university-enterprise cooperation and market-industry collaboration.

In his address, Wang Changchun stated that Shenzhen University has traditional strengths in artificial intelligence and computer science. After conducting nationwide research in seeking partners, Shenzhen University was identified as a pragmatic and hardworking partner. Financial system software is a jewel in the crown of application systems and software. The combination of large-scale models and financial software systems is of great significance in promoting the comprehensive intelligentization of financial software engineering and can provide important references for the application of large-scale models in other industries. He expressed hope that Shenzhen University would invest in new technologies, provide resource guarantees, and cultivate more talent in large-scale model financial software technology.

Li Jianqiang, Executive Director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data System Computing Technology, presented a report on the construction of the Joint Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence Financial Software Engineering. The joint laboratory will establish a management committee responsible for making decisions on major matters, promoting research in cutting-edge high-tech fields, and collaborating on joint research and projects to address practical needs in business planning, product development, basic research, and standards formulation. Simultaneously, both parties will jointly promote the industrialization of research results, establish shared intellectual property rights, and actively apply for various research projects and awards.

The joint laboratory's main research directions include: AI-based optimization and refactoring of financial software engineering, researching new paradigms for financial software development; code generation and assisted programming based on large language models to improve coding speed; test case and test data generation and code quality checks based on large language models to improve software development quality; requirements engineering based on large language models, including code understanding to generate business rules and structured requirements to improve the speed of requirements generation; requirements and design, and design-code consistency checks based on large language models to ensure software asset preservation; assisted architecture design based on large language models; and intelligent problem diagnosis and analysis based on large language models to improve problem-solving efficiency.

Subsequently, the signing ceremony officially began, with representatives from both parties and witnesses going on stage to sign and take a group photo.

Following the signing ceremony, both parties held in-depth discussions on the subsequent construction of the joint laboratory.

Mao Junfa raised two points. First, the system and mechanism. The mechanism and system of the joint laboratory are very important. The operational mechanisms and measures of the laboratory need further in-depth discussion to ensure they are truly effective and promote the development of the laboratory. Second, full communication is essential. Changliang Technology, as the one setting the requirements, should put forward specific and clear needs, and formulate good questions; Shenzhen University, as the one answering the questions, should provide good answers. Finally, he wished the joint laboratory success in its cooperation.

This signing ceremony marks the beginning of a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership between the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data System Computing Technology at Shenzhen University and Shenzhen Changliang Technology Co., Ltd. It is believed that with their sincere cooperation, even more fruitful results will be achieved in the future.
