Peng Xiaogang, PhD, Associate Professor. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Fudan University in 1999, he pursued further studies in the United States, earning a PhD in Computer-Aided Modeling, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics.

He returned to China to teach in 2005. In 2009, he was recognized as a leading figure among Shenzhen's high-level talents. As an expert in the Shenzhen Science and Technology Expert Committee, he has participated in the review of various information technology projects at the Shenzhen municipal and district levels. He has served as a technical consultant for venture capital firms in evaluating commercial projects and has been a member of several entrepreneurial mentor teams, guiding multiple startups to successfully operate their companies. In teaching, he received the 2008 "Ministry of Education-IBM" Excellent Course Construction Project. He was named one of Shenzhen's Top Ten Young Teachers in 2009, one of Shenzhen's Top Ten Favorite Teachers in 2012, and received the Ministry of Education-IBM University Cooperation Project Excellent Teacher Award. He also received the Shenzhen University Tencent Excellent Teacher Award in 2013 and the Shenzhen University President's Teaching Award, the highest honor in teaching at Shenzhen University, in 2014, achieving a "grand slam" of teaching-related awards at Shenzhen University. Currently serving as the Director of the International Education Expert Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Education Association, and formerly as the Deputy Director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation at Shenzhen University. He was responsible for drafting Shenzhen University's Internationalization Action Plan, overseeing external cooperation and international cooperation projects, and has extensive experience in designing and implementing international projects. His main research areas include data mining, text information processing, big data, internet business models, international education, and innovation and entrepreneurship.
