On August 15, 2023, a delegation of 12 people from Shenzhen Gas Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shenzhen Gas"), including Liu Jianhui, General Manager of the Technology and Information Department, Zhang Jing, General Manager of the Information Center, and An Chengming, Senior Expert of the Research Institute, visited the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data for exchange and discussion. Li Jianqiang, Executive Director of the National Engineering Laboratory, Wang Li, Director of the Technology Transfer Office, and other personnel attended the meeting.
Director Li Jianqiang warmly welcomed Liu Jianhui and his delegation from Shenzhen Gas, and led them on a tour of the exhibition hall and laboratories, providing a detailed introduction to the National Engineering Laboratory's research directions, discipline evaluation, scientific research achievements, and talent team.
Following the visit, a symposium was held in the Turing Hall on the 10th floor of Zhizhen Building. During the meeting, after introductions, both sides engaged in a lively discussion on how to integrate big data analytics methods with industry, proposing collaborative research directions including interconnected sensing and monitoring, pipeline safety inspections, resource scheduling, and user management. They also expressed preliminary visions for cooperation in joint talent training and the establishment of joint laboratories. Li Jianqiang stated that both Shenzhen Gas and Shenzhen University have grown up in Shenzhen, and he hoped that both sides could fully leverage their geographical advantages, maintain close contact, and deepen cooperation.
Liu Jianhui expressed his confidence in local cooperation and invited the research team from the National Engineering Laboratory to Shenzhen Gas for in-depth exchanges, discussions, and collaborative exploration.
