On the morning of March 8, 2024, a delegation of 14 people, including Wu Zhigang, Deputy Director of the Information Center of Shenzhen Customs, Zhang Xuejun, Deputy Director of the Statistics and Analysis Division of Shenzhen Customs, and Sun Ting, Chief of the Software Development and Management Section of the Science and Technology Division of Shenzhen Customs, visited the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data System Computing Technology for exchange and discussion.
Li Jianqiang, Executive Director of the National Engineering Laboratory, Shen Linlin, Deputy Director, Peng Xiaogang, Assistant Director, and Li Junjie, Wang Xu, Chen Xiaojun, Zhou Hong, and others from the School of Computer Science and Software attended the meeting.
Director Li Jianqiang warmly welcomed Wu Zhigang and Zhang Xuejun from Shenzhen Customs and led them on a tour of the exhibition hall and laboratories, providing a detailed introduction to the National Engineering Laboratory's research directions, discipline evaluation, scientific research achievements, and talent team. Teachers Shen Linlin, Chen Xiaojun, and Li Junjie then gave a detailed presentation on the latest research progress and applications of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data System Computing Technology in areas such as large language model research, big data analysis technology, and risk management and early warning for industrial and supply chains.
At the subsequent symposium, Wu Zhigang, deputy director of the Shenzhen Customs Information Center, introduced the progress of the customs district's work on deepening the application of big data. He gave a detailed introduction to the relevant application scenarios and pain points of exploring the use of cutting-edge technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence to promote the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of customs to a wider range and higher level. He also expressed his hope that this would serve as an opportunity to have more exchanges with the National Engineering Laboratory in the future and carry out long-term cooperation.
Director Li Jianqiang stated that both sides had built a solid foundation for cooperation in the Shenzhen Customs Smart Discipline Inspection Project, and expressed hope that a stable cooperation mechanism could be established, including plans to jointly build a joint laboratory and conduct joint project research in the future.
