The newly appointed Chairman, Li Jianqiang, delivered the work report of the Shenzhen Computer Society Council. He reviewed the Society's significant achievements since its establishment in promoting the application of computer technology, carrying out popular science activities, building a platform for industry-university-research cooperation, and promoting international exchanges. He also emphasized that on its 40th anniversary, the Society will continue to dedicate itself to promoting scientific and technological progress, playing a bridging and leading role, and building a platform for win-win cooperation.

The council members held a lively discussion on the Society's future development and put forward many constructive suggestions:

(1) Differentiated Development: Differentiate itself from organizations such as the China Computer Federation, emphasizing the integration of hardware and software, regional advantages, and connections with Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

(2) Industry-University-Research Cooperation: Strengthen the transformation of research results and industry integration through university-enterprise cooperation, technology promotion, and innovative application scenarios.

(3) Attracting Young Talent: Establish mechanisms such as awards and funds to attract young talent to join the Society and promote technological innovation and exchange.

(4) Popular Science and Education: Promote information literacy education in primary and secondary schools, conduct science and technology competitions in artificial intelligence, robotics, etc., and create exemplary models. (5) Resource Integration and Promotion: Leveraging the Society's historical advantages and member resources, enhance its influence and promote industrialization and technology dissemination.

Chairman Li Jianqiang stated that the Shenzhen Computer Society will take the new council as its core, pragmatically advance all tasks, implement the specific suggestions put forward at the meeting, gradually expand the scale of member units, serve the actual needs of universities and enterprises, and create an open, cooperative, and win-win platform.

The successful convening of the new council of the Shenzhen Computer Society has laid a solid foundation for the Society's future development. As an academic organization with a long history and distinctive regional characteristics, the Society will, under the leadership of the new council, fully play its bridging role and contribute to technological innovation, industry-academia-research integration, and talent cultivation in Shenzhen and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
