On September 16, 2024, Professor John P.A. Ioannidis's team at Stanford University released the 7th edition of their list of the world's top 2% of scientists. This list selects the top 2% of scientists in various fields from over 7 million researchers, covering 22 fields and 174 sub-disciplines. The list is divided into two parts: the "Lifetime Scientific Impact Ranking" (1960-2023) and the "2023 Annual Scientific Impact Ranking."
