As the Year of the Dragon begins, everything is renewed. To ensure the smooth progress of various tasks in the new semester at the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data System Computing Technology and to inject momentum into the work of the new semester, the laboratory held a new semester work meeting on February 19, 2024. All faculty and staff of the laboratory attended the meeting.
Executive Director Li Jianqiang first extended Spring Festival greetings to all faculty and staff. He stated that the laboratory is a unified whole, and everyone should unite and cooperate to promote its development. Teachers should enhance their sense of responsibility and mission, and dedicate themselves to the new semester with full enthusiasm; they should also strengthen their learning and continuously improve their professional skills and work abilities.
Subsequently, Deputy Directors Zhu Zexuan and Shen Linlin, Assistant Directors Peng Xiaogang and Luo Chengwen, and Wang Li, Director of the Technology Transfer Office, reported on the work goals and priorities for the new semester in areas such as scientific research, personnel, undergraduate affairs, graduate affairs, and industry cooperation. The laboratory leadership team members expressed their commitment to actively participating in various research activities and teaching duties as the new semester begins.
This meeting provided direction and clarified goals for the new semester. It is believed that with the leadership of the university and the joint efforts of all faculty and staff, the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data will create a better working environment in the new semester and jointly write a new chapter in the laboratory's development.
