Brief Introduction:
Zhihao Wu, born in 1997, holds a PhD and is an Assistant Professor and Master's Supervisor. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Internet of Things Engineering from Harbin Engineering University (2019) and his PhD in Computer Science and Technology from Harbin Institute of Technology (2025). His research focuses on cutting-edge areas such as visual object detection/segmentation. He has published over 20 papers in top international journals and conferences, including IEEE TIP, TNNLS, TMM, CVPR, NeurIPS, AAAI, and ACM MM. Two of these papers are ESI highly cited papers, one received the AAAI-23 Distinguished Paper Award, and two received the Shenzhen Excellent Scientific and Technological Academic Paper Achievement Award. His work has been cited over 1000 times on Google Scholar. He has been granted two Chinese invention patents related to his research.
Awards:
During his undergraduate studies, he won one national-level competition award and two provincial-level awards. During his master's studies, he won two national-level competition awards as the first author (total prize money of 75,000 RMB) and received the National Scholarship. During his doctoral studies, he received the National Scholarship, the title of Outstanding Graduate of the Province, and a nomination for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of the University.
