Qin Pengjie is a Distinguished Associate Researcher/Assistant Professor and Master's Supervisor. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the School of Automation, Chongqing University in 2023. From July 2023 to September 2025, he worked at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as a Postdoctoral Fellow/Assistant Researcher. He is a Senior Member of the China Instrument and Control Society and serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Intelligent Vehicle and Robotics Branch of the China Instrument and Control Society. He is also a guest editor/youth editorial board member for international and domestic journals such as *Journal of Instrumentation*, *Biomimetic Intelligence and Robotics*, *Frontiers in Neuroscience*, *Space Habitation*, and *Instrumentation*.

His research focuses on perceptual intelligence and human-machine collaboration. He has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Fund, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has also participated as a principal investigator in more than 10 national/provincial/municipal projects, including projects funded by the JWKJW National Defense Science and Technology Innovation Special Zone, the National Key Research and Development Program of China, key and general projects of the NSFC, and the Shenzhen Medical Special Fund project. He has published over 10 SCI papers as first author/corresponding author (including 4 papers in IEEE Transactions), and has been granted/applied for over 10 invention patents. His research achievements have won 8 provincial and ministerial-level awards, including the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award from the China Instrument and Control Society, the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China Instrument and Control Society, the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the Second Prize and Best Paper Award at the First National Internet of Things Access Technology Competition, and the China Instrument and Control Society Scholarship.
