The Joint Laboratory for Big Data in Nuclear Power Operations held its 2023 Mid-Year Working Conference

The Joint Laboratory for Big Data Operation in Nuclear Power (hereinafter referred to as the "Joint Laboratory") held its 2023 Mid-Year Working Meeting on June 27, 2023, in Conference Room 614, North Building, 01 Floor, Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base. Hong Zhenmin, Manager of the Science and Technology Information and Documentation Department of CGN Nuclear Power Operation Co., Ltd., Hou Yalin, Manager of the Spare Parts Center, Zhang Yuhong, Director of the Major Equipment Management Office, Li Jianqiang, Executive Director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data, Zhu Zexuan, Deputy Director, Shen Linlin, Deputy Director, and Luo Chengwen, Assistant Director, attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the two sides held a joint laboratory unveiling ceremony. Li Jianqiang and Hong Zhenmin unveiled the plaque on behalf of Shenzhen University and CGN respectively, and all participants took a group photo.

After Wei Tao, Senior Business Manager of CGN's Scientific Research Platform Management, reported on the approval process for the establishment of the Joint Laboratory for Nuclear Power Operation Big Data at the National Energy Nuclear Power Operation and Life Management Technology R&D Center of the National Energy Administration, Wang Li, Director of the Technology Transfer Office of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data, gave a detailed report on the joint laboratory's development from four aspects: completion of work plans, ongoing work, planned work, and proposed proposals. As of June 2023, the joint laboratory had proposed 20 work items, including 2 collaborative research projects already underway, 4 planned collaborative projects, 7 proposed collaborative projects, 2 proposed research awards, and 1 talent training project.

Zhu Zexuan offered suggestions on the direction of cooperation between the two parties. He pointed out that exploring cooperation directions can combine "raising needs" with "discussing technology." Both parties can jointly explore and discover new areas of cooperation using existing or ongoing research technologies, promoting stronger collaboration and forming a closer cooperative relationship.

Hong Zhenmin offered practical suggestions on the joint laboratory's current research directions and thanked the Big Data Laboratory for its active work. He encouraged the joint laboratory to actively expand its collaborative research areas in the future, emphasizing the need to clarify research objectives and jointly safeguard nuclear safety.

Finally, Li Jianqiang thanked CGN for its attention to the joint laboratory. He proposed that both parties further strengthen cooperation and close communication, conducting talent cultivation alongside scientific research collaboration, and focusing on practical and valuable work.
